Who makes up the Panhandle Chapter?
The chapter is made up of certified behavior analysts and other professionals experienced in the field of behavior analysis or behavior management.
What does the Panhandle Chapter do?
- We provide technical assistance to people in need of answers to "behavior" questions.
- We can make recommendations to caregivers of individuals in the community
that
may have behaviors that are challenging or inappropriate. - We can make recommendations, provide suggestions, and assist in the
creation of
specific training programs. - We can sponsor conferences in our area and provide support to providers.
How can the chapter benefit me?
We provide in-service training and/or continuing education for the membership
and for other professionals in our area.
Who can come to the meeting?
Anyone in need of behavioral assistance.
When does the Chapter meet?
We meet every 2nd Monday of the month (unless it’s a holiday in which
case it’s the
3rd Monday) 12:00 noon.
Where does the chapter meet?
We currently meet after the Local Review Committee – Escambia – usually at the Chappie James building downtown. However, contact the president or other officer to confirm exact location and time.
