The Florida Institute for Neurologic Rehabilitation (FINR) provides residential, vocational, behavioral, therapeutic, and educational services to a diverse client population on a 900 acre campus located within an hour of Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota, and/or Lakeland, Florida. General duties include: (a) Conducting functional analyses of various problem behaviors (e.g., physical aggression, property destruction, verbal aggression, elopement, etc.), (b) Implementation of function-based interventions for the reduction of problem behaviors, (c) Training employees to implement behavior programs, (d) Conducting observations and providing feedback to staff on appropriate implementation of behavioral interventions and programs, (e) Completing detailed behavioral summary reports for each client on a monthly basis, and (f) Attending team meetings with program case managers, parents, guardians, funders, and/or other pertinent individuals for review of client progress. Experience with individuals with various diagnoses (e.g., developmental disabilities, autism, brain injury, etc.) preferred.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
1. Develop and implement behavior programming (skill acquisition and replacement behavior skills) while ensuring linkage with support plan goals for individuals receiving services in Quest Group Homes. Ensure completion of Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Analysis Service Plans (BASPs). Promote programs to enhance and increase residents' independence.
2. Provide competency based training and re-training to staff, teachers, family members, and others as necessary on the implementation of behavior programming, including current BASP and required data collection. Monitor the provision of behavior programming by staff. Document training and monitoring on approved forms.
3. Participate in and model the delivery of routine, daily behavior management of the individuals served and assume the lead role in crisis management as needed. Assist the program in the development and implementation of community inclusion training with other members of the team.
4. Collect, record, interpret, and monitor data on resident behaviors and progress on behavior programming. Generate required progress reports monthly, quarterly, annually according to agency timelines. Graph data for reports in a standardized format. Complete monthly service logs to substantiate billing and individualized Implementation Plans as needed.
5. Assist staff to maintain a family home atmosphere and a positive environment. Provide positive interaction with residents and co-workers and respect individual differences. Serve as a role model in the environment.
6. Train and monitor Quest staff on the Agency for Persons with Disabilities Behavior Assistant curriculum, assisting staff to attain and maintain required certification. Assist in maintaining compliance with Behavior Focus and Intensive Behavioral behavior certification requirements.
