Behavior Analyst - ARC of the St John's

Job description:

The ARC of the St. John’s believes that all individuals deserve love and respect and share the universal human desire to live and contribute to a caring community according to their abilities. By building a network of supportive relationships, ARC of St. John’s programs assist individuals to attain the necessary skills and independence to live meaningful lives within their families and their communities. To this end, the ARC of the St. John’s Behavior Department is dedicated to maximizing the success of the individuals served by providing an instruction based environment with positive, appropriate services.

A Behavior Analyst for the ARC of the St. John’s will be responsible to provide group home and community based behavior analysis services to individuals with Developmental and other disabilities and who have chronic and severe behavioral disorders. Responsibilities for this position will include conducting behavioral assessments, developing function driven behavior plans, designing and implementing appropriate function driven replacement skills trainings, providing on-going training of caregivers, data collection, graphing and data analysis, and on-going monitoring and evaluation of all behavioral objectives.

Qualifications:

The ARC of the St. John’s is looking for individuals with a Bachelor degree in an appropriate field with a certification as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst with the national board or Florida Behavior Analysis Certification (CBA or CABA).

Pay & Benefits:

The ARC of the St. John’s is offering $30.00 per hour for BCABA, CBA, or CABA’s for part time staff. Full time employee’s salaries are negotiable based on caseload and experience. Benefits include health, dental, life, and disability insurance.

The Center for Psychological Studies, in collaboration with the Mailman Segal Institute for Early Childhood Studies (MSI), is inviting applications for an Endowed Chair in Autism spectrum and/or related disorders. The preferred candidate will bring exemplary scholarship, leadership and innovative perspectives to training and intervention. The Mailman Segal Institute’s Baudhuin School offers onsite treatment and education for over 160 young children (0-5 years) with autism spectrum disorders.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will bring exemplary scholarship, leadership and innovative perspectives to training and intervention. The successful candidate will have a strong publication record and an established externally-funded program of research or potential for such activity. The candidate should be able to produce evidence of distinction in teaching, supervision, and mentoring of graduate students in psychology. Candidates must have a doctorate in clinical, counseling, school or applied developmental psychology from a program fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The candidate must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Florida

Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Easter Seals of South Florida Inc

Job description:

  • Provide behavioral support services for children, families, and staff.  
  • Serve on a multi-disciplinary team to conduct assessments and provide therapeutic services.
  • Perform functional assessments of behavior and develop behavior intervention plans for clients.
  • Conduct professional development activities and training for staff and families on applied behavior analysis.
  • Supervise and monitor classroom staff for assessment and implementation of behavioral programs.
  • Provide consultative supports to staff.
  • Develop data collections systems and monitor data collection by classroom staff.
  • Attend staffings and meetings, as required.
  • Provide indirect and direct behavioral services to clients.
  • Provide behavioral consultation to families to facilitate the home-school relationship.

  • Participate in research activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be board certified.
  • Bachelors Degree with coursework in Behavior Analysis. Masters preferred.
  • Minimum three years of work experience working with children with developmental disabilities and autism.
